Welcome to the Big Dream!

“I want every day to be a fresh start on expanding what is possible.  And I know that ONE person can make a huge difference.” – Oprah

We invite you to join this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of a grassroots movement of how ONE person – YOU – can make a huge difference in the world through gratitude.  Project GratOtude started with ONE person – Janae Bower – with the “big dream” of inspiring ONE million people to join our FREE Project GratOtude community.

Nobel Peace Prize winnerAlbert Schweitzer called gratitude the secret to life. I (Janae Bower) couldn’t agree more!! Gratitude has changed my life and I want to give IT away by sharing with you the power of gratitude and challenging all of us to put our gratitude in action during the nine months of this challenge. Oprah said, “Do what you love and give it back in the form of service and you will do more than succeed. You will triumph.” This is what I love and I’m giving away everything that I’ve learned about gratitude through Project GratOtude as my service to YOU, with the vision of each One of us  making a difference in the lives of others!

Why YOU?

You might be asking yourself why you should be apart of this GRATITUDE challenge when you already have so much going on in your life?  We invite you to join our community and be part of this challenge because when you feel more grateful, you also feel more thankful, appreciative, loving, forgiving, joyful and enthusiastic.

Here are some of the life-changing, scientifically-proven benefits of having gratitude in your life. It can help YOU:

  • Feel better about your life as a whole
  • Be more optimistic about the future
  • Cope more effectively with everyday stress
  • Increase your resilience in life
  • Build closer friendships and bonds
  • Feel closer to God
  • Enhance your longevity, affluence and prosperity
  • Exercise more regularly
  • Report fewer illnesses
  • Become more generous

Who is Part of the Project GratOtude Community?

Our community is made of people across the world of all ages willing to increase gratitude in our lives so that we can impact others.

What is the Project GratOtude Challenge?

The challenge is for all of us to INCREASE GRATITUDE IN OUR LIVES!  We will provide you with all the inspiration and support you need to meet these results as soon as you join our community.  The Project GratOtude challenge is not about winning a contest.   Rather Project GratOtude is a challenge to make gratitude a way of life for us.

What Resources will you Receive?

By joining you’ll receive the latest resources for FREE on gratitude, such as:

  • Recorded and live teleseminar interviews with gratitude experts
  • Step-by-step guides to implement certain gratitude practices
  • The best books  on gratitude with cutting edge material
  • Creative gift-giving approaches and products
  • Video demonstrations that teach and inspire
  • Written and audio blogs related to the featured gratitude topics
  • Ongoing case study of one person’s journey to meet the challenges
  • Inspiring testimonies and heart-warming examples from the community of gratitude givers who are making a difference
  • Quotes to encourage, uplift and share

Why Join Project GratOtude?

Just like a dance that starts with one person, this project started the same way – with just One person – Janae Bower – inspired to start this gratitude movement.  Then a few more people join in the dance, just like those who have become our Project GratOtude Dream TEAM.  Soon everyone is dancing together and you can see the energy and feel joy rising as this seemingly “mob of people” join together for one of the most beautifully orchestrated events.

We’ve gotta GREAT feeling about what’s in store for all of us who are embarking on this Project GratOtude journey together.  You will feel joy rising for yourself as you make a difference and others will catch your contagious energy!  Let’s do IT!!!

Janae,

What an inspiring gift you are providing all of us!!! I began my official gratitude journey today although I imagine the things I learn from Project GratOtude will live on in my life long after Oprah's last year – the same way we will remeber her generous spirit from her years of giving!

Blessings on your journey.

This sounds like something I need in my life right now. Daughter is off to college :(, my parents health is failing and life is just busy. I try to be positive everyday and it is challenging.

Hi Roseanne,

Thank you for joining our community and it sounds like it is perfect timing with everything that you have going on in your life right now. It is more challenging to have an “attitude of gratitude” when times are tough. We’ll look forward to being on this journey with you so that we can all support each other with learning how to be more grateful.

So glad you are with us!

Love the idea of the Board to focus on what’s important for the year. How do we download it?

Hi Carol,

I’m glad that you like the idea of a vision board to help provide focus for the year. I love mine and it really helps me stay centered. You can download the guide on the page that has the vision board information.

Here are the instructions to help you with that:
1. Go to Challenge 5: Starting the Year with Thanks
2. Select the topic: Creating a Vision Board
3. Read the section titled How I create and use my vision board. There is a link for you to download the guide for instructing how to create your own vision board.

Let me know how it goes for you, Carol!

Blessings,
Janae

The first 3 words ever spoken to a human being were ” You are free” You can’t have freedom unless you have boundaries, God has given us guide lines to work within. Seek to be free from that which has mastery over you. I want to inspire the gifts of my heart and through ProjectGratotude I can formally participate in the vision board. Thanks so much for the inspitation and a reminder to honour the blessings in our life when we are up against lifes’ challenges.
Grateful, Helena Xx

thankyou for this wonderful program! your daily messages never fail to lift my spirits. i try to practice gratitude as much as i can, often i forget due to difficult life circumstances! i am 66 & recovering from an unexpected stroke after surgery in 10/08, have a meth dependent daughter as my caretaker, have gone thru all my reserve funds, have just made a major move to a new area to be closer to my oldest daughter & her family, am severly depressed & trying to regain my life style! i used to be a very capable, totally indepent, self sufficient woman! now i am a whining, dependent, nearly helpless, cripple!!! what a turn about!!! physical recovery prognosis is not good due to pre existing back & knee problems which are in-operable due to their severity & my weight. pain is constant. still, i do have many things to be gratefull for & i try to remember them daily & to spread gratitude where ever i go. keep up the good work!

Hi Donna,

Thank you for reaching out to us and we are so grateful that our daily messages are lifting your spirits. Considering all that you are going through, I’m so impressed that you continue to give thanks and spread gratitude wherever you go! That is wonderful. Just remember that the more you are grateful, the more things will show up in your life to be grateful about. Your story reminds me about someone who I wrote about in a blog on Spirituality in the workplace that I do. Take a look at this link and I’ll think you’ll be moved by CJ’s story.

Also Cami Walker with the 29 Days of Giving Project http://www.29gifts.org would be inspirational as well.

It’s an honor to serve you and I pray for many more of God’s blessings in your life, Donna.
